Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

This morning, I (Pearl)woke up in the blue lagoon with the wind blowing on me. I looked to my left, and there was Katy sleeping like a baby. Because Katy wasn’t awake, I had to fend for myself and take the scary and treacherous trip down the stairs into the bedroom; around 30 minutes after that adventure, I got woken up by Whitney saying there was breakfast upstairs. Everybody on board had a delicious breakfast sorta made by Kennedy and Dawson because all they had to do was put out some yogurts and bagels. I went to go get a yogurt, and I had to eat it with a fork (the yogurt was still good). After we ate and got dressed, half of the kids and I on my boat got sent into the salon for a sailing meeting about navigation and safety systems. We learned that during one of the exams for sailing, we actually get to choose where we are going and where we are stopping for food, and during the whole sail, the kids do all of the work, which I think is really cool. After the meeting, Kennedy, Amaya, Liliana, Dawson, Cam, and I went to the power tower to make bracelets. Everybody was making very impressive bracelets; then I made a really ugly chevron bracelet that got a lot of hate for the whole day. While we were sitting up on the power tower, cam started wrapping string around Kennedy’s toes and calling them toe bracelets. After around an hour everybody got put into boats for water sports. On my boat, Liliana, Katy, and I all did knee boarding while Kennedy did wakeboarding. Sadly, during her time on the wakeboard, her toe bracelets fell off. Our boat driver was James, and after everybody had done their sports, we were speeding around in the boat and saw a super cool turtle swimming around in the ocean. On the guys boat Andrew did kneeboarding and a 360 on the board, Dawson, cam and Holden all also did kneeboarding. After everybody finished their sports, we came back for amazing grilled cheeses that were cheffed by Mike. After lunch we all got ready for diving.

During the dive for the open water divers, I was with Kennedy and Suki, Liliana was with Andrew, and Katy was with Amaya. While Suki, Kennedy, and I were finishing one of our training underwater, Whitney ( our instructor and dive teacher) told us we had to ascend, and our whole group already left the dive boat. While trying to get into the dingy, Kennedy fell into the water, making Suki and I have to jump in with her. We went back to Avizia and started our paddle-boarding trip to the beach. At the beach, Katy, Dawson, cam, Andrew, Holden, and I all made sand castles while Kennedy and Amaya tanned. Once everybody got home, showers started, and we all realized that there had been a boat group on our power tower since 3 pm because their boat had been infested with ants (they did not know about the infestation). For dinner, we had Mexican night. Mike helped with the dinner, and it ended up being amazing. During the night, everybody who is in advanced diving, Cam, Jovian, Holden, and Dawson, all went to night dive, which I believe will be so much fun and such a cool experience. Gavin, during the day, read his book called Boys in the Boat. Today was an amazing and adventurous packed day, and I cannot wait for the next day to begin.
