Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Hi guys!!!! Today was an awesome day, it began with a very windy morning, and almost everyone ended up waking up inside. Campbell and Andrew cooked pancakes for us all this morning, which were amazing. Emilia, Zoe and I put Nutella on ours, while Sadie and others put syrup on theirs. After breakfast, we had a quick sail to Road Town, where we received our phones and began our day ashore. Elsa, Leoni, Carly, Zoe, Campbell, Emilia, Sadie, and I ate lunch at a nearby hotel while Andrew, Jackson, and Peter went to a restaurant called Pusser’s. Roman walked around stealing food from friends.
We all took a trip to the grocery store to stock up on snacks, and some of us walked over to Latitude 18 (a local shop) and bought some tee shirts and bracelets. At 2:10, we made our way back to the dock and dinghied back to Avizia. It was quite hot out, so we changed into our bathing suits and got ready to sail. Many of us took the helm during this sail (including myself). During the end of our journey, an intense rainstorm started, and most of us sat out on the catnip and enjoyed the shower. Once we arrived at our destination, the storm was over, and we started our last ocean shower. Counselors left for their meeting at 4:30, so while they were gone, Elsa and Campbell cooked broccoli cheddar pasta for dinner. We enjoyed that a lot and got all the dishes done before the counselors returned. We have a group activity tonight that we are all looking forward to! See you all in 2 days!
