Dear diary (everyone’s parents),
This morning was a very relaxing late wake-up at 7 a.m., which allowed us to get some hard-earned rest. As a result, this newfound strength allowed us to get through all the morning festivities. It was super fun when Garrett and Noah started DJing and playing Weird Al. We worked on underwater navigation and compass diving today with our buddies, where we rotated counting kicks and actually following the compass. Once we finished that up and had a quick lunch, we moved into our oceanography lecture, where Joe taught us all about currents and tides. We all then took the dinghy to the shore to compare the beaches on the windward vs. the leeward side of the island. It was a quick 20 minutes there, and back then, we all got in the ocean to get some swim time in. Paul, Emmy, Derek, and Me (Maya) got into a very intense chicken fight… they won. After the chaos, Emmy, Tessa, Rachel, Regan, Anya, Mirah, and I all played mermaids and tried to get the boys involved. Then we all went to the shore to cover ourselves in the sand and take part in a very relaxing Soul Rebel spa day. Derek and Logan came over with mud balls that we threw into the water, and that’s when we came up with the brilliant idea… Reef-safe bath bombs. Thank you for coming to my Ted (Maya) talk!
