Although most of us woke up naturally at 6:00 am, the rest of us woke up from Ollie’s footsteps marching around the boat. After we tried to convince a local man for ice, we indulged in some scrambled eggs and maybe the best thing we’ve eaten since coming off of the airplane, blueberry muffins in a cake pan. With too many helpings of “blueberry muffins,” we all went to the upstairs area of our beloved home and started our sail for the day. And to answer the questions you have all been asking yourself, yes, we are all wearing sunscreen, especially Ella S, because you can see it isn’t rubbed in on her face! After a little more bonding as we started sailing, Ollie, Hopie, Thompson, and Ella S sang along to our favorite songs while the rest of the boat made sure we made it safely to our lunch spot. Then we made sandwiches for lunch; some liked our meal more than others. After, we took a much-needed swim and vlogged it, thanks to Wilkes. We did more sailing after lunch with a side of HEAVY rain. While steering and keeping track of how many knots we were going, I was able to reach 9 knots, which is an all-time record for the speed of a catamaran. We got bored of listening to the same three Zach Bryan songs, so we debated whether Avril Levine and Katy Perry were “throwback” songs (sorry, Mia and Sela were right). Once Grayson and Meredith lowered the anchor for the night, we all jumped into the ocean for a shower. Hopie, Thompson, and Ollie cooked us Alfredo Pasta with hot dogs (we know, yummy). All we have left is one scuba test before we dive into the ocean tomorrow! Thank you for reading my blog today, and I hope you look forward to my writing again, even though I haven’t written since my personal history paper a week ago!!
