Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today, we woke up extra early AT 2 AM to prank a boat. But by 3 AM, the boat pranking gets turned on us, and the next thing we know, we are on our own boat with the student crew of a whole other boat! Then we go on what Emma/instructor calls “a flip-flop-worthy hike.” During the hike, Sultan’s slippers dislocated, which I do not know how that is even possible, but he is silly, so I am sure if anyone could do it, he could. Grace did the whole hike barefoot. I think the reason is because she is from Florida. Holden collected a crab in a shell and took it from halfway up to the top of the mountain, then took it to the beach, which was pointless because the crab was up on the mountain for a reason, just like all the other ones.
Then we went scuba diving, it was fun but only in 5ft of water, idk why tho. For the rest of the day, we sailed on dinghy sailboats and went water skiing. While water skiing, Thomas was being slung around on a kneeboard, which was very impressive. After that, Otter, Thomas, Sloane, Alex, Audrey, and Mary talked about Christianity, which was also fun. Then, for dinner, Clara made tacos, which were very good. We also had the BIG BOSS of ActionQuest come over for dinner, and it was so much fun! Over all, this was a very fun experience so far. For squeeze (a culty thing we do at the end of dinner where we all have to answer the skipper of the day’s question) I asked everyone what was their favorite part of the trip so far. Lots of the answers were the sick sailing we’ve been doing, the stingray we saw on our dive today, and Thomas’s funny comments so far during the trip.
