Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

Today was another beautiful day in the BVI. The sun was shining, there was a slight breeze in the air, and everybody was excited to start a new day. The seas today were a mix- near the shore, the water was flat as glass, but farther out the waves were knocking us around a lot. This morning our boat went to Anegada, which is another one of the BVI’s many beautiful islands. There we swam and had a good time; it was lots of fun. We even met a few new people. Our sail back was very hard. Our skipper Ted told us we could sail this boat without him to our next destination, Mountain Point. It took a while, but eventually, we arrived there. On the way to Mountain Point, we saw a lot of sea life. We saw a jellyfish and two dolphins which came right up to our boat; it was so exciting. When we arrived at Mountain Point, we had Mexican night. We all made burritos and ate like kings. When most people began eating our burritos, they started falling apart- only a lucky few were able to eat theirs intact. The burritos falling apart did not stop us for long, we quickly pulled out forks and continued our feasts. I think today was a good growing experience for our boat as a whole.
