Location: Marina Cay

Hey guys, it is me, Henry, who will be informing you about what went down on this fine Thursday. Today, we woke up at seven so we could get underway to move farther from shore to dive. We had eggs and burritos for breakfast today, and it was scrumdiddlyumptious (pronounced scrum-didaly-um-chus). We then prepared for our first rotation, which was dinghy sailing and boat sports. My group was Jasmine, British Columbia (Chloe, who is from BC), and Jasmine and Chloe both mono-skied (water skiing on one ski) mean while I did 360s and road backward on a kneeboard. As we were returning, we saw the two dinghies sailing oddly close to each other. Little did we know we were spectating a race that, let me tell you, was down to the wire. It was the other two advanced sailors, Riley and Redden, skippering, and that was not all. Both of the Givens twins, Brayden and Brooklyn, are crewing the boats. Let me tell you, it was close, but Riley barely edged out Redden in the end for the win. After this, we returned to Highlander for a glorious KRAFT Mac n’ cheese lunch (pro tip: add bacon bits). We then enjoyed some extremely edible yellow cake with some chocolate frosting.

We then absolutely CRUISED to the Visibles, which is a pair of islands that kind of look like mutated frogs. We then set up for our dive and hobbled our way into the water, pretending like we were way cooler than we actually were. We then descended into the water and did our dive against a reef that reminded me of the part in Finding Nemo where he gets snatched up by the boat. After ascending and putting our gear back, we set sail and, as usual, had no real goal for what we were going to do. As usual, Redden, Riley, and I took turns at the helm, and Brayden, Cammie, and Chloe T sweated the halyard; Chloe C pulled the slack out of the lines, and Brooklyn made sure the lazy Jacks weren’t getting stuck. Once we had our sails up, we sailed out to the channel and sailed past a cruise ship, which gave us some massive waves to go over. After a bit of sailing, I passed off the skippering to Redden, who sailed us towards land. We then did a sails-man overboard drill with our fender, Jojo. We then rotated me back to skipper so I could motor us to Marina Cay, where Chloe dropped anchor for us.

Meanwhile, our chefs, Redden and Brooklyn, cooked our very special dinner for tonight’s BUM BUM BUM SUMMERTIME THANKSGIVING! It was very yummy, and in my opinion, the gravy was the best. After dinner, we did our chores, and let me tell you, it was eventful. We almost dropped stuff, and the biggest part was when Redden was just standing there minding his own business. Brooklyn came over and opened the hatch under him. He then pulled an indecisive person on an escalator and had one foot on the opening side and one foot on the closed side, and he fell in on one side and did the vertical splits and yelled, OH THAT HURT, hence the name of this article. He’s totally fine, though. After that, some banana bread was consumed (also prepared by our Michelin star baker, Chloe C. We then listened to a speech about values by Jim Tuman that was super deep and kinda sad but meaningful. We then began to settle down for bed. Thanks for reading the adventures of 10 sweaty teenagers on a yacht in the middle of the Caribbean, sucks I know (just kidding)

P.S. Hey, Mom and Dad, I miss you guys. I’m having so much fun. Thanks so much for sending me here. I love you guys so much. Tell my brother to sleep in his own bed.
