Location: The Dogs
Hi everyone! Today, it was I, Jasmine, who was nominated to write to you. It was a day of absolute joy and laughter. Waking up at 6:30 once again is getting easier as the trip continues. This morning was different, though. Chloe. C had the audacity to wake us up to (not so )joyful screens of terror! We had been pranked. One of the other boats had the nerve to tie lines all over the top deck. Tangled lines aren’t exactly what we dream of waking up to. The first part of the morning passed by quickly as we strategically decided which of the other ships had hopped onto our boat during the night. Oddessy are the ones who claim to have tip-toe feet and sneak around our gorgeous boat in the middle of the night!
Next up, we geared up for our first dive of the day. We were much quicker this morning since we had been compared to some mere beginners! We had to prove that we are ALWAYS better! I don’t mean to brag, but comparing us to the new group is absolutely absurd! After gearing up, we took a big leap into the unknown ( Please watch Frozen 2 to understand ). The dive itself was absolutely magnificent! Practicing skills is only one of the many ( kind of crazy ) things we did. Witnessing a shark is the one that most get to experience. When you do, your eyes automatically glimmer with excitement and hope. Unfortunately, the current swept us away in seconds. Most were shocked, but the staff were sloths, meaning that they did not care in the least. They simply sat back until we had arrived at the planned destination. The shark planes. These are magnificent artificial planes that were purposefully sunk to create such a wonderful dive site. Before we knew it, we had to surface due to lack of air. I personally would have continued, but you know, you DO need air underwater, so I decided to ascend. Once aboard the lovely catamaran, we started the motor and off we went to the next dive spot.
The drive itself consisted of lots of fishy crackers and crumbs ( Sorry for the mess!) We quickly arrived and put the anchor down. While leaning against the life line I gracefully fell into the direction of the water, as was headed straight for the water I used my very impressive strength to hold onto the line and successfully saved myself!! Moving on, the second dive was as beautiful as it can get! Large boulders overtook the sea with gorgeousness. The marine life was stunning and oh-so vibrant. We once again hopped onto the boat. With our excitement high, Ayden decided to surprise us with his bracelet-making skills (NOT). It took us half an hour to learn how to cross a string over our legs. That isn’t the worst part, though.
Two hours later: Ayden! Help! I still can’t get it!
That’s right! It took us two whole hours to learn how to make a not-so-simple bracelet. We had given up when, all of a sudden, Skylar walked out of the dinghy with such confidence that not even a buffalo could mimic. She starts off by insulting Ayden and Henry and calling him an incompetent proctor. She then taught us how to PROPERLY make a Turque’s Head Bracelet. This isn’t just any bracelet. All of the ActionQuest staff has one, and once you have one, you are officially welcomed into the Action Quest Team! Youppie! Luckily for us, we quickly caught on to Skylar’s fast-paced bracelet technique.
Once completed, smiles arose from every corner of the ship. Once again, we returned to Mt. Point for a gracious supper. Mexican night is always fun, but tonight was exceptionally eventful. We took a nice dip in the gorgeous water to enjoy a nice salt washer shower. Of course, there was a lot of pushing into the water, but all in good fun. Start off with a lovely meal prepared by our chefs. Of course, we decided to have a tortilla slapping contest. It consisted of quick reactions and lots of momentum. It was insanely fun!!!!!!!! As we started to quiet down, we had some sail training to do. We listened to Ayden but were still not sure if we could trust him after the bracelet incident. (I’m just kidding!) And here we are! I loved my time writing to you all, and I hope that you enjoyed listening to today’s experiences with me.
PS: Maman, Papa, Je m’amuse TELLEMENT!!!!!! C’est TRES amusant! Je vous aimes beaucoup! Vous etes les meilleurs parents de tout l’univers!!!! Gros becs!
