fter a nighttime passage of colossal proportions, we arrived at the mountainous island of Saba. With sleepy heads and high spirits, our group took a short early morning sleep. Our spritely gang was then peacefully awoken to a beuatiful view of the lush island. We soon sprung into action: making an abundant mass of cinnamon french toast. After this delectable breakfast feast, plans were set into action for the shipmates to go on a refreshing snorkel and scuba-dive. While this diving was underway, some members of the crew caught up on sleep that was lost during the passage. The day then ended with a filling meal of tender, perfectly seasoned beef and tomato stroganoff. Although we were exhausted, we were brought through the day by our anticipation of climbing Saba peak and many other adventures to come.
