Location: Marina Cay
Hey all, this morning started with a wake-up around 8 am. Everyone was a little more energetic today, with a full eight hours of sleep. The day started with an optional “Moon dive”, as Jake likes to call it. On a moon dive, no one wears fins. It is meant to mimic the effect of being on the moon. You float around and just enjoy messing around on the sand. There were a number of flips and underwater tricks performed, and it was really enjoyable. There were also a few stingrays seen. After getting on the boat, the crew sailed back to Roadtown, where we went on land and shopped in stores in the harbor. After a prolonged excursion and watching a little golf, we headed back to the boat and motored to the next dive site, Alice in Wonderland. It was a rough but entertaining ride. This was a relatively advanced dive, but everyone did a good job handling it and managing their air. Alice in Wonderland is a large reef blooming with life. Some of the highlights of the dive included the sighting of 4 sharks, none were huge, but they were certainly beautiful. The reef was very cool, and Brady managed to find $10 80 feet underwater somehow. After the dive, Lorden drove the boat to Marina Cay, where we plan to stay the night. For dinner, Gabi and Carson cooked Tortellini, which made a very good dinner. After dinner, we were visited by three amazing dolphins.
