Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
Hey everyone, it’s Adrienne, the skipper of the day. Today was a fun day. We started off the day with Tony blasting music to get everyone pumped for the activities, which was successful. Then, we enjoyed oatmeal and pineapple and changed into hiking attire. Once changed, we headed over to the hike, which was hard but beautiful. We were surrounded by breathtaking ocean views and plants. After the hike, many of us were hot, so some jumped in the water before heading back to Meow. Once we arrived, we chilled, swam, and snacked before heading to water sports. At water sports, Gigi, Cassia, Brielle, and I went on Aiden’s boat. Cassia did the wakeboard, Bri did the kneeboard, and Gigi and I chilled on the dinghy. After the watersports, we went for a round of zoomies, which is when we go on the boat super fast. They were very fun but I almost fell off the boat multiple times. After, it was lunchtime, where we enjoyed Tuscan white bean soup cooked by Nat and Brielle. Our afternoon was full of scuba diving and paddle boarding, which was a great way to end the rotations. We then showered and got ready for our second barbecue, which was on the beach this time. We had a beautiful sail to the location of the barbecue and once we arrived, we headed straight to the beach. There was music and delicious food, and we got to hang out with the other boats. We headed back to our boat, which was rafted (tying your boat to another boat so they stay connected) to the boat, gap year. We hung out and got to know the other kids on the boat, which was a blast. After a long, fun-filled day, we all headed to sleep.
