Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

After a late night of cleaning beans and rice off our boat from Odyssey, we started our morning with oatmeal and a skipper’s meeting. Today we had our first race with all of the sail side boats. A skipper and student skipper from each boat met on Mango Tango to talk over the morning drag race. Mango started off with a professional start with the help of Jamie and Helena on the jib. After a big head start, Mango kept the lead and got first place with a huge lead!!!! We ended up in West End for lunch on shore. Sofia, Cooper, Caspian, Oliver, Arthur, and I sat down for lunch while the rest shopped at the market for snacks, including brownies for tonight. On shore, there was one more skipper meeting before we headed out for our second race. Liv and Lea maneuvered us out of the anchorage before I gave Jamie the helm as we sailed. Cooper, Caspian, Addie, Sofia, and GG were soaked in the sun before helping with various tasks around the boat. We ended up in 3rd in our second race after duking it out with Nómada towards the end, giving us the best total rank of any boat in the fleet! Once we anchored in Great Harbor Peter, we rafted with Beso to steal their wifi for a fun movie night with PJs and brownies. As well as baking a cake for Nómada, today was an eventful and great day leaving us all excited to dive into a shipwreck called the Rhone tomorrow!!
