We woke up on our final day to the song “Final Countdown” and ate cereal and oatmeal to fuel up for our last sailing race and last sail of the trip. Everyone was very excited about the race as we raised the sail and gathered fruit and eggs to throw at other boats. Max hit another boat with an apple, but we got hit with a pepper that splattered all over the cushions. We finished the race in 4th place and gathered to do our boat appreciation (cleaning the boat). We all packed and cleaned. Will, Maddie, and Casey worked on cleaning the deck while Caroline and I cleaned the bathrooms. We all took a break to eat pizza and wings, and Alex and Maddie got cold water from shore, which Ariana was very excited about. Once we finished cleaning, we got our phones back for good and had lots of free time to either hang out on the boat or go to shore. Macie and Ariana went to a coffee shop, Jon bought a coconut, and Max got a foot massage. Erica downloaded all of the trip photos on her phone and shared them with everyone. Everyone is excited to go to the barbecue, and Niko can’t wait to dance. We all had so much fun and are sad that tomorrow we have to go home.
