Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today started with sailing right when we got up. Our first stop was a location known as the baths, which is a cool area with hiking, cliff diving, and many areas to explore. This is the first time we have been on land and had a freshwater shower in 4 days! We all started traveling together into some cave-ish areas, which led to the cliff diving, which was Katie W’s favorite part, she did many dives and flips, And Luke A had fun climbing the rocks. Our next destination of the day was Spanish Town. Spencer, Sophia, and I were left behind by our group:(but we were directed to a cool jerk chicken shack by others in our fleet and were able to fulfill all our land needs. We then sailed to our last destination offshore and connected with a boat called Friendship. Katie W, Katie S, Spencer, Ellie, Maya, Grace, Sophia, and I were busy making friendship bracelets which I have never done before. Ian then instructed us to actually mingle with the boat we were connected to. I was the only one that went over but was able to win over the boat with my awesome bracelet, and our boats merged. A Cotten eye joe dance was started by Anna, who was quickly joined by JT, Ellie, Maya, Grace, Stick, and Katie W. We finally ended our day with a great meal made by Katie S and Paige.
