Location: The Bight, Norman Island

During this amazing day, we did many things. Starting off in the morning, everyone woke up while Ella and Eloise prepared a great cereal breakfast. Shortly after, we made our way up to the top of Pussers restaurant, where we had a meeting with Mike—heading back down from the meeting we made our way back to the boat for our hour-and-a-half passage to Norman Island. JJ and Tate then moored us to a ball. A while after blasting some music on the boat, we had a swim test, starting with swimming five laps around the boat, followed by treading water for ten minutes. Coming back on the boat, everyone started to get ready to go snorkeling. We saw many things like goby fish, sea turtles, and Christmas tree worms. After that, we had a quick swim in the rain with students from the boat Hope. Then we got ready to go back underway to Peter Island with Jas at the helm. On the way, we saw some huge clouds with lightning in the distance. When we got to Peter Island, I got ready to help drop the anchor. Pablo, Diego, and I dropped the anchor once we reached our spot. Going to the stern of the boat, we all started taking showers when Josh brought up a joke that there might be a shark in the water! Towards the end of the night, Jas and Eloise made dinner as Antonio got the plates and food out. For dinner, we had sloppy joes with mashed potatoes, corn, and salad. Later into the night, we had a dive chat. During the dive chat, we did a knowledge review and then went over I, led by one of our dive instructors and Matthew. And that brings us to the end of the day, hanging up on the top of the boat. We had a great day and looking forward to another great day in the BVI.
