Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound

Hello World! Today we started the morning with yogurt and bagels, followed by our first rotation day, which I think we all really enjoyed. The rotations started with watersports, where we were given the opportunity to wakeboard, waterski, and kneeboard (all of which were a BLAST despite the water being quite choppy). Our second rotation was sailing small sailboats, called zests, in pairs. I had a LOT of fun jumping from my boat to others’ and capsizing their zests. Next up was lunch, a counselor named Margaret (from another boat) made our entire lunch for us while she and her students were on our boat (each rotation had a boat we were shuttled to by dinghy, our boat was the watersport boat). We had chicken salad sandwiches and, of course, PB&J’s. I used my sandwich shop work skills to roll some of the students’ wraps perfectly 🙂 Our last rotation was the check-out dive, so we split into two groups and made sure all of us were familiar with the equipment and felt confident in the water. Once our rotations were done, we packed everything up and set sail to where im writing this from, and where we will stay for the next two nights, Vixon Point. We had amazing beef stroganoff for dinner made by our chefs of the day, Ani and Adrien. The sunset was the best yet, cotton candy clouds flooded the sky, and we all posed for pictures together. Anyways, im sure we will play more cards tonight, as per usual, and hopefully get some sleep for the adventures that await us when the sun rises again tomorrow. Love you all, Fin out.
