Heyyy, we started day 6 with cereal and fruit. Once the group cleaned, washed dishes, and sprayed down the seats, we started the second day of rotation. Harbor houses’ first rotation was watersports like yesterday. Some of the group chose to wakeboard, kneeboard, or waterski. After the first rotation was done we headed back o the boat to learn some knots. The knots we learned were cleat, bowline, clove, loop to half hitch, sheet bend, square, and figure eight. After being able to master the knots, Ada and Skye headed to the kitchen to set up our lunch for the day, and although the lunch for the day was mac and cheese, we could not get the stove working, and we needed to make it to our next rotation, which was diving, so instead we had PB and J’s.
After lunch, we headed over to the Naccho dinghy to get ready for the second day of diving. The second dive was something called a navigation dive, which means that we went under and needed to use a compass to find our way back to the group. The dive as a whole went very well. After that, we had our last rotation, which was paddleboarding. Everyone had fun during the last rotation. Some people got on the paddle boards and played “king of the paddle board.” Once the last rotation was over, we all headed back to the boat to take out showers and get ready for dinner, which was a garden burger with mashed potatoes and beans, which were so yummy! After cleaning up, we headed to the downstairs of the boat to finish two knowledge reviews for our advanced scuba training. After the group finished the reading and answered the questions, all of us headed to Nacho to review the chapters read. Once done, we headed back to the boat to end the night with some card games and finally bed! BOOM DAY OVER, Mackenzie:))))))
