This morning, we woke up, and all the girls slept on the top of the boat, which was a bad idea because none of us slept well. We couldn’t sleep because every 20 minutes a gust of strong wind would wake us up and then it started to rain, but it’s ok! Once, we woke up by Mel (aka Captain Drippy Dreads) blasting music. When I woke up, I went downstairs, and there were eggs for breakfast but our lovely chefs Antonio and Alex. After that, we learned how to set up our scuba diving kits, and in my group were Liam, Delfina, Daisy, and Hayes. It was a little difficult, but we all did it, so that’s good. Later, after that, we started diving.
I had Tomas, Alex, and Reed in my group, and we were doing lots of tests in order to be prepared in case of an emergency. We had to do things like use our buddy’s alternate air source in case we ran out of air and how clear our goggles if they filled up with water. Then we had lunch, and our amazing chefs, Alex and Antonio, pulled together some yummy sandwiches. After lunch, Devyn, Delfina, Graham, Alex, Lawson, Hayes, and I learned how to drive the dingy (a tiny boat), and Delfina fell off the boat (don’t worry, it was off), which was really funny definitely the highlight of my day but also driving the boat was super fun even though I was not very good at it. We also learned how to tie some knots. Then we all chilled for a bit and swam in the water, where Lawson got stung by a jellyfish. We all showered, and we shower in the ocean, which is actually really fun. Then Alex and Antonio once again made an amazing Alfredo pasta, which was bussssssin and then we decided to prank another boat by catching and putting a seagull in their boat, which was super funny. Now we are going to watch videos about safety in scuba diving and then play card games, which is so much fun. Finally, here I am writing this, so yeah, byeeeeeee and if my parents are reading this, I love and miss you lots – violet
