Today we woke up to rain. We started off the day and ate oatmeal for breakfast. It was our first rotation day which is very exciting. We all went scuba diving and took our first breaths underwater, spotting stingrays, fish, and even a fireworm! In addition, we learned how to tie many different knots as well as drive a dingy! Eli was the most fun dingy driver. We had lunch and ate PBJ’s and Chicken salad sandwiches, which were very good. As our other rotation, we were in pairs of 2 or 3 to sail the Zest boats. Greyson and I ended up doing well despite turtling twice along the way. Drake and Juni had fun on a boat as well as Jon Luca, Piper, Clare, Emily, Carson, and Natalie. Eli and Jackson had fun and somehow broke the mast of one of the boats. As our final rotation, we did water sports which was a blast. Greyson did well on the waterskis, Drake and Natalia on the wakeboard, and Eli, Juni, and I on the kneeboard. Throughout the day as well we saw many large tarpons and even a barracuda! Towards the afternoon and late morning, the sun peeked through the clouds, which was great to see. We all came back to the boat, took ocean showers, and ate delicious beef stroganoff. We all can’t wait for our next rotation day coming up soon!
