Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was day 4. We started off the day with an early wake-up time at 6:30. Then we sailed 30 minutes over to Virgin Gorda, where we hiked through rock formations to go to a jumping rock. Many of us jumped off the rocks and did various dives/flips. We spent about 2 hours and the rock, then we headed over to a town on the island for our very first shore day! Eli, Claire, Juni, Greyson, Carson, Natalia, Piper, Emily, Jackson, Luke, John-Luca, and I all went to a cafe on the island to get refreshing treats on a hot day. After the cafe treat, we split up and walked around the town. Some of us got candy and ice cream, and some of us had snacks. Eli, Juni, Luke, me, Jackson, Johnluca, Greyson, and Claire ate at a sports bar in town and got burgers and sodas. After the meal, we went on a walk in the neighborhoods then we took a stroll on the beach. Greyson found a dead snake on the beach! After that, we got back on the boat and sailed over to a cove to do our second sail talk to learn how to tie lines. Then we took our showers and jumped off the boat. We had a jump competition, and Carson and Piper were the judges. After that, we dried off, and dinner was prepared tonight we will have chili and rice made by Jackson and Emily.
