Location: White Bay, Peter Island
Today we left the dock to go to Peter Island and do a refresher dive. The boat ride to the island took a while, but Maya, Anya, Tessa, Mirah, Rachel, Emmy, and I sat at the front and let the waves hit to pass the time. After eating sandwiches for lunch, we started the swim test. We each did seven laps around the boat and ten minutes of treading water. Even though it was hard, Emmy and Noah made the experience more fun by making up a story about a chicken named “Oh Hello” who was in love with a swan, and Logan made bubbles in the water. After lunch, we finally got to dive, and while swimming around the bottom, Rachel pointed out a baby octopus! After the dive, I played intense games of go fish and BS with Maya, Garret, Derek, Paul, and Tessa while dinner was made.
