Location: anse du columbier, st. barths
We woke up this morning around nine after a late night of hanging out. After wake-ups, we quickly transitioned to an impromptu dance party while we awaited breakfast in the oven. We enjoyed croissants with Nutella and yogurt and then did a quick dishy pit. The rest of the morning was spent on shore exploring some more of Gustavia, St Barths. Ari and Ian headed to the smoothie shop and then to lunch with some friends from Meow.
Meanwhile, Aiden and Mark did a short hike to a lookout before heading to a cafe for lunch. Theo headed to the bookstore with some other Meow students while Nick spent the morning studying for the upcoming VHF exam. Meanwhile, the staff ate some leftover pizza, then headed to do our last round of provisioning. After our trip to the grocery store, we headed to shell beach for a swim. We all met back at 1:30 to make some final boat preparations before leaving the dock and motoring around the corner to pick up a mooring ball. The mooring field in Anse Du Columbier is in a bed of seagrass that attracts sea turtles, so we all hopped in for an afternoon snorkel. This evening Ian and I cooked a delicious stir fry meal of chicken rice, veggies, and some scrambled eggs. After squeeze and another short dance party, we cleaned up and took our VHF exam.
