Location: Marina Cay
This morning we were allowed to “sleep in” until around 7:15. Personally, I am a morning person, but Byron is NOT. We had scrambled eggs and cinnamon muffins for breakfast, and guess what happened? Byron took a nap, surprise, surprise. HAHA. Anyway, the chefs were Enzo and Simon, and in my opinion, they should work for a Michelin Star restaurant because breakfast was a chef’s kiss. Next, we broke off from the quad raft(four boats attached to one another), and we got our scuba gear together. This dive was similar to the rest in that it was a Fun Dive, and Cici was our instructor. What was NOT similar was the fact that we saw several trunkfish (look it up, it’s worth it), a nurse shark, and an arrow crab.
After that, we took our gear off and headed straight for Road Town. Once we made it, Rango, our “super” dinghy, that’s not so super, took us Moorings. Once we arrived, I headed straight for the cafe, where I got a Panini and juice. After my stomach was feeling content, I joined Event Horizon on the walk to the grocery store. To my surprise, it was extremely modern and held plenty of food options. I got a double chocolate ice cream pop and some nature valley bars. After that, we all headed back to Aloha and went for a choppy motor over to cooper island. I thought that was our final destination, but it wasn’t. We went for a dive by ourselves, and thankfully, we all made it back to the mooring line, unlike our first time. No one got lost. WOOHOO. We rushed out of the water and took a quick shower. Don’t worry; I got my backflips in. Next, we motored to Trellis Bay and cooked along the way. During the motor, Alex and I sat on the seats on the bow of the boat and dipped our feet into the waves. For dinner, we had pasta with red sauce, salad, and some garlic bread. Have a good night to all the parents and others reading this AMAZING blog.
From,
Lily.
