Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

Hello, my name is Evan. Today was another great day on Alpenglow. Today started off with a staff meeting. We made pancakes for breakfast (made by Vanessa) and spent time together socializing, playing card games, telling stories, and reading books. After our staff returned, we were anchors up en route to Trellis Bay for some shore time. On shore, we scouted out all of the finest local establishments, such as local shops and restaurants. Angie, Lorelai, Gabby, Laila, Reid, and I went off for a seafood lunch, while Mar, Elias, Ella, Sedora, and Krisi went off to get some Pizza. After finishing our meals, we did some local shopping and socialized with the other ActionQuest vessels. This was all followed by slipping our Mooring ball to shoot over to Muskmelon Bay. This quick passage was by far the most beautiful part of the trip so far. This was our first time exploring the BVIs on the north side of Tortola, marking our halfway point of the session and wrapping up our exploration of the south side of the BVIs. We’re wrapping up the night studying for upcoming sailing exams, socializing on the trampoline, and reading. Everyone is sitting, watching as the sun sets, in awe at this invaluable experience.
