Everybody, it’s Sahil writing today about day 18, the day in the big city. The day started early for some as Carlie, Avery, River, and Laurel woke up early to do water sports with Emma on the Phoenix. While for the rest of us got up at 7:00 and started getting ready for Road Town. Since the chefs for today, Avery and Carlie were waterskiing, Leila and Alivia decided to make pancakes for everyone in addition to the pre-prepped cereal. After a delicious double breakfast, we continued planning for the day at Road Town. Unfortunately, Margaret had to leave early to go to the clinic to check on her healing lung, but the good news is that her lung is now feeling happy! We met Margaret on the dock of Road Town and all of us went to Mr. Nice Guy looking for nightgowns called “Dulamimi”, but unfortunately they had none. After, we retreated back to the restaurant to eat lunch. The reviews were mixed, but overall, the food was pretty satisfactory. Continuing our time in Road Town, we roamed around the circle, finding many goods along the way. Arthur, River, Dillon, and I found a pharmacy, looped back to Mr. Nice Guy, and went to the biggest grocery store we’ve seen in the BVI. At the grocery store, we got snacks for JT, Margaret, Emma, and us. In addition, we got some groceries for Mexican Night. We concluded our time and returned to Beso del Viento with our gifts.

We all returned and were ready to motor back to the bay that we started at this morning. During the motor back, plenty of people took turns playing cards and resting. Michelle, Leila, Grace, River, Dillon, and I all played different card games, and after, Kaya, Arthur, Dillon, River, and I took a rest until the anchoring was complete. After anchoring, we showered, and Carlie and Avery started cooking up a crazy Mexican Night. They made guacamole from the avocados we got from Road Town and star-shaped starfruit in addition to the rest of the incredible food. It was probably the best meal of the trip thus far, but the downside for Arthur, Dillon, Kaya, and Michelle as they had to clean the myriad of dishes after squeeze. Now we’re about to have a sail chat to review for our exam tomorrow and wind down for the night.
Sincerely,
Sahil, Leila, Grace, Michelle, Alivia, River, Carlie, Laurel, Arthur, Kaya, Avery, and Dillon
