Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

We woke up this morning already on the way to Mountain Point. Our counselors started the sail at about 5 am so we could arrive at this island for rotation day. Our first rotation was supposed to be diving; however, our boat needed a major deep cleaning. We spent the first few hours cleaning the boat after breakfast. Then, at 10, we went to the boat Grateful to Zest (a small sailboat). Thea and I were on a zest and capsized many times. We spent most of the time in the water laughing. Also, Caroline and Lyla, and Andrew D and Jack M were zesting and capsized frequently with the strong winds. After that, we headed back to our boat for lunch. Gary and Jo were kind enough to make us ramen for lunch. Jack H seemed to enjoy it the most. We then went to Meow or Never to learn about navigation. We learned about the engines and navigation for our boat. The majority of us were super tired and fell asleep shortly after.

Sophia and Sloane were taking naps in the cockpit. Chase, Andrew B, Andrew D, Jack M, and Greyson hung out at the top of the boat playing games. After this rotation, we went water skiing. Lyla, Sophia, Sloane, Chase, and I all fell asleep during this rotation. Thea, Jack M, Andrew D, and Caroline went water skiing, knee boarding, and wakeboarding. We got back to the boat around five and started showering and making dinner. Lyla and Thea made chicken Caesar salad and risotto. We are currently doing dishes and cleaning before we get ready to take a night snorkel on this beautiful island. It was another great day and we are looking forward to tomorrow.
