Today, we woke up at seven and got ready to go to another boat called Beso for a sail day. Greyson and Caroline were the chefs today. They made breakfast burritos. We got picked up around eight and went to Beso. We were split into groups of 3 and got called up group by group to sail. My group was first: Andrew B, Jack H, Caroline, and me. First, we learned how to tack and jibe, then learned how to work the helm. Jack H did a good job at keeping the wheel steady while we worked the sail. After my group went, next was Sloane, Greyson, Andrew D, and Emelia. Sloane had a fun time controlling the helm and doing the ropes. They practiced the same skills as the other group, and Greyson sailed through a rainstorm. After a few hours, Chase, Lyla, Thea, and Corn came and did the same as the last group. Chase and Andrew B played good music the whole time and were excellent DJs. At around 4:30, we headed back to the rest of the ActionQuest boats. We got picked up in a dinghy and started heading back to Gap Year. Once we got back, we went straight to showering while Thanksgiving dinner was being prepared. After we all ate, we split off into our jobs and started cleaning up before bed.
