Busy, busy, busy! Today was a busy and memorable day. It was truly rewarding and knowledgeable for each and every one of us. Each shipmate spent the day knocking out skills for Divemaster in one way or another. Oscar, Alex, and Jan had an exciting time leading a snorkel expedition in the mangroves. They did an amazing job leading the students on their journey and saw many fascinating creatures that crossed their path. Natalie went off to assist the advanced divers on the Rhone cannons and did a superb job. The rest of us practiced our skills on the boat and on the surface. We all did amazing with these skills and rocked many five scores, which is the highest score possible. How cool! We did demonstrate gear setup, buddy checks, giant strides, gear removal, weight belt removal, and much more! We are well on our way to accomplishing the 24 skills. What’s even better is the connection our boat has. We all love each other and get along so well! I couldn’t have asked for a better boat! Of course, with today being Father’s Day, we would all like to extend our love for our Dads and say Happy Father’s Day! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the trip has in store for us!
