Hello world,
Riley here. Today has been awesome so far, but it’s not over yet! We woke up this morning at around 6 AM. Matthew was intent on cutting the melon into nice, aesthetic squares. He & Brie made oatmeal, and some of us had Fruity Pebbles (shoutout to Matt for being oh so generous as to share his personal stash). At 8 AM, it started to rain a bit, but we still took Shaka to The Baths, which was tons of fun. We skipped through the wet rocks to get to the top & did backflips off the jump (Kahan, Kellen, Charly, Henry, Aria, Alonna, Matt). After that, we took our wondrous Hibiclens shower down below & got ready to go out for lunch! We all went to The Turtle & The Bath for lunch, which had Mexican Taco Salads, Chicken Caesar salad, Burgers, Buffalo Wings, and some weird fish burgers that no one ordered. Sorry, Brie, everything had meat. Then we walked around & visited AsianMart, Yum Yum’s (a candy shop), Arawak (gift/souvenir shop), a small grocery store & Mr. Nice Guy, which is quite difficult to explain – they had a wall of perfumes, really scary gold & silver homecoming dresses from the fifteenth century, JBL speakers of every size & color, sunglasses, & of course, the PJ3 fan favorite, durags. After Spanish Town, we came back to the boat and sailed to Mountain Point. We went on a super sick snorkel to check out our site for the night dive & went through a short tunnel to hang out there for a bit before coming back. We had beef pasta & salad for dinner & now we’re gearing up for our night dive!!! Lots of mixed feelings on the boat I would say, but he two main being nervousness & excitement, which a wise man once told me takes a simple change in attitude to transition the former to the latter. We’re putting glow sticks on our scuba tanks & will all have hand-held flashlights. Hopefully, we will see more Eagle Rays tonight!! Yayayay, first night dive ever!!!
Hugs,
Riley
