Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Greetings from Vixen Point! Before I can begin on the amazing adventures of today, I must mention the awesome night we had last night. It started with a Lifeworks discussion where we all discussed what it means to be happy. We all then came back to our boat for a surprise birthday for Josh. Simon, Casey and Katja made awesome fudge cake and even decorated the salon, all-making for an awesome night. Josh finished it off by licking the pan. This morning started out early with bagels and yogurt while sailing over to the Baths. Everyone explored the beautiful views and rocks and some even swam into an underground cave. We were even able to jump off of one of the gigantic rocks. The group then sailed over to Spanish town, where we were able to dock and eat some yummy lunch. After stocking up on the necessities, for us that means ingredients for smores, we got back on the boat and headed for Vixen Point. Pedro got the boat moving incredibly fast, which gave us all some confidence for our upcoming race. Dinner tonight consists of beef stroganoff and a sailing chat later. Today was great and I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds for us, talk to you later!
