Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Hello friends & foes,
Riley reporting in again. Today has been super lit & chill so far. We woke up to a whole lot of music blasting from different boats because we were anchored with almost all of AQ. Some of us ate cereal for breakfast, some of us ate cereal for a pre-breakfast snack, & some of us skipped the cereal altogether….because we ate breakfast in town today! We sailed to West End, where we started the trip & touched down in Omar’s Cafe, which had bagels, smoothies, BE&Cs, etc. It was super yummy. Safe to say the avocado bagel was superior. Then we went to a few shops, including Arawak, a cutie dive shop, Pussers & a grocery store. Was totally lit & chill. Most of us are towards the end of our cash…lol, but we here on PJ3 are intelligent people who prioritize food. We came back to the boat with an array of snacks, including Welch’s juice, Aloe Vera Juice (????? Really a unique choice), semi-sweet chocolate chips, regular chips, Oreos, & an eight-pack of Dr. Pepper (shout-out Kellen), amongst other products. We then sailed the blue seas as Hannah, Brie, Aria, Alanna & I sat on the net of the bow & chatted as the waves quite literally crashed into us. Aria fell asleep at one point & woke up to a wave in the face. It was very silly & very awesome to watch.
After that, we sailed to the anchor of the Rhone, where we had an optional dive. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find the anchor, which is, according to Jake, quite difficult to find. Alanna, Avery, Kellen & Cahan were lower on air than Aria, Hannah, Jake & I, so they ascended a few minutes before us. Overall, it was a beautiful dive with plenty of coral & good old-fashioned BVI scuba fun. Simultaneously, Henry, Matt, Brie, Charly, and Lily had some deep chats aboard with Megan & Gordon. After the dive, we took our daily naps, listened to music, read our books, & overall chilled together as we made our way to GHP or Great Harbor Pier. We also decided to raft with Graytful tonight, a boat with both Divemaster & Vega students.
We ate our Breakfast for Dinner on our respective boats, but I foresee some quality socializing tonight. But first, we night dive! It’s optional, but a majority of us are opting to experience GHP under the moonlit skies. As I sign off, I want to thank the academy & tell my people I love & miss them (AJM&T). I really hope the Bloginator app gives me a 5/5 score. Hanna got one last night & I am (secretly) super jelly. Bloginator, when you read this, please give me a 5/5. Anyways, peeps, I’m out. It’s been real.
Hugs,
Riley
