Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
We woke up in Sydney’s Peace and Love and as soon as we finished breakfast, we started sailing towards Sandy Spit. While sailing, our practical sailing test began. We had to do sailing circles, some knots, and man overboard drills. So, we were doing our job but then the jib shackle broke so we had to stop to fix it. By the time it was being repaired, we ate lunch and cleaned the cockpit. Once we were done, we continued our test for about two hours. Later then we went to a beautiful beach where we met another boat. We all really enjoyed and it and had a lot of fun. After that we went back to the boat to shower and eat dinner before hopping back on a dinghy which brought us to a catamaran for a Lifeworks Forum with Sam, which was really interesting and taught us a lot of things. Then we went back to the boat and fell asleep. We can all agree that this was a very well spent day and can’t wait to see what’s going to happen tomorrow.
