Location: Sidney's, Jost van Dyke

We woke up really early this morning. We woke up at 6 in order to get an early start on our hike to the peak of Mt. Sage. The hike was fun and tiring. The view at the top was amazing, and the banana smoothies on the way down made the whole climb worth it. We have our own skipper David to thank for bringing home the first spot in the logbook and immortalizing our place as grade A hikers forever. After the hike, we hung out in Cane Garden Bay and ate ice cream and cheeseburgers. On a side note: Cane Garden Bay is a rumored place where Jimmy Buffett wrote Cheeseburger in Paradise! After leaving port, we went to a small island to have a sandcastle building contest. We made a sand ship replica of our boat. Our sand ship included dead coral, palm leave sails, coconut windows, and an AQ T-shirt for a flag. We came in third place in the contest and had a good time building our sand ship. Right now, we are waiting to have a BBQ at Sydney’s Peace and Love restaurant. It will be a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to listen to the reggae band.
