Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
This morning we woke up nice and early at 6:30 to a delicious French toast breakfast. As the staff went to a meeting at 8, we cleaned up breakfast while listening to some music. At about nine, the staff returned, and we quickly got the boat ready and made our way to Trellis Bay only a short distance away. We got on shore, and all ran to an outdoor restaurant that had the internet where we all tried to get precious internet for our phones. After eating and browsing the small town, which had a cool shop with tons of locally made stuff, we headed back onto the boat. We were there for about two hours, but it always feels so much shorter! We then got ready to go again. After setting sail, we practiced some sailing techniques around the harbor before making our way to Muskmelon Bay, where we arrived at 4:30. We changed our pillowcases and sheets, got our laundry bags back and showered before having a delicious dinner of chili and rice. Overall today was a slow day but still very enjoyable.
