Hi! I’m Caroline, and I am the skipper of the day. Today started out with a relaxing breakfast. We dined on bagels, fruit, and yogurt. We had a relatively slow start to our day. While we waited for our dive rotation Evelyn, Thea, Lyla, and I read books on the top of the boat while basking in the sun. We spent up to lunch taking our PADI certification final test (which we haven’t gotten our scores back on). Additionally, we had a rotation of making Turk head bracelets with James and Annie, another staff member. Topher and Jack from Tennessee made some of the best ones! Harrison and Oscar jumped in the ocean as Chase and Jack Hoover “carried the boat” (or did pull-ups on the side). We then had our first open water dive after working hard on basic skills for a few days now. Lu took a fun boat ride with Kaylee and Jake, while Lulu had an amazing time scuba diving with her group. We dove for hours and came back to Odyssey for a “summertime Thanksgiving” dinner that was delicious. It was comprised of chicken, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole. It was so awesome. We ended our day on a relaxing note with a sail chat. Overall, we had a great day. Bye!
