Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
This morning started great with Connor’s birthday, which was decorated by Aline, Scarlett, Maya, and Laragh. For breakfast, we had pancakes made by Scarlett and Laragh while the staff were at a meeting. Once everyone was back, Ben had to leave early, which was sad for everyone on the boat. After we said our goodbyes to Ben, we headed to Mountain Point for our first dive of the day on a wreck, where the girls did fish I.D. while me (Holden) and Connor completed our wreck diver certification. After the dive, Joe hosted another dissection, this time on a squid. Charley got to take the beak of the squid after the dissection, which was her high of the day. We took 2 hours out of the day for a sail from Mountain Point to Musk Melon. Emily offered her set of beads for bracelets the past few days, which all the girls have been using. We ended the night with our final night dive of the trip. Brooke pointed out an octopus to the group, which was a good thing to see before going up. Overall, we had a great day.
