Today was an early day, waking up at 5:30. We had a quick bowl of cereal and headed off for our morning hike. The hike started at around 7:30, and within half an hour everyone was tired. The walk started at around a 45-degree angle, and after the first 45 minutes it slowly started to flatten out, and the hike became more manageable. The hike had many beautiful views along the way, but by far the most beautiful part was the view from the overlook at the top of Mt. Sage. By this time we were all worn out, so we decided to buy some drinks; the most popular were banana smoothies and Fantas. Then after this refreshing break, we began our descent back to Cane Garden Bay. When we arrived, we all went out for lunch. Dishes varied from spaghetti Bolognese to cheese pizzas, but we enjoyed it all. After lunch, we walked around town for a little while and then returned to our boats. After a twenty-minute motor ride, we arrived at Sandy Cay. Here all the boats came ashore and spent an hour creating sand sculptures. Our boat created the loose hang sign, but other designs varied from a dolphin to a sand car. With sand in our pants, we headed back to our boat for one of our favorite times of the day, shower time. We all enjoyed a dip in the cool Caribbean and getting out of the sun. Right now we are heading over to Sydney’s to have dinner at tonight’s BBQ/dance party. We are all having a great time!
