Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

As usual, the day began with a very sudden awakening (“Bikini Bottom Day”). French toast was served for breakfast while the team prepared for a long day filled with many games and activities. Once again, our first rotation started with hanging out on Avizia. Isabel, Calvin, Mora, Natalie, Robby, and I started our day off with water sports. Calvin and I took turns kneeboarding and practicing our 360s while the girls wakeboarded and slalomed. Back from water sports, the gang all took turns diving off of the Shape Up boat in the rain. There was also a splendid rainbow. Our second rotation was the most important of them all, being the team’s certification dive. The dive consisted of a swim through some coral followed by some final skills.

Everyone was very happy to finally be certified after what felt like a long wait. Lunch was Mac and Cheese with some very questionable toppings of ketchup and hot sauce (gross). Anton, Caroline, and I had a great time scrubbing and cleaning all the dirty dishes. Quickly after a scrum-diddly-dump-ious lunch, the squad sailed off into the horizon. While sailing, we all practiced the “Man Over Board” drill. Sadly “Georgia” (made up person) was thrown overboard as we all struggled to save her. Anton took the leadership role of directing the boat, as Teddy, Emma, and everyone else worked together to SAVE GEORGIA. Though very long and tiring, we successfully rescued Georgia after many failed and embarrassing attempts. This action-packed day ended with dinner on land followed by a night ocean shower featuring butt worms (BUTT WORMS DO NOT EXIST).
