Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
Hey everyone! It’s Ella, the skipper of the day. We started our morning bright and early with our final dive to become PADI certified. We all had a great time because this was our first “Fun Dive,” meaning we didn’t have to learn any new scuba skills. While diving, Robert, Henry, and Evie saw a pufferfish, and Jack and I were practicing flips underwater. After we finished our dive, we did a rotation of zesting, water sports, and paddle boarding. Miles stood up for the first time on the wakeboard, and Owen and Makena were trying to capsize each other’s zests. We had quesadillas for lunch, which were prepared by Ellie and Sipora. Once lunch was over, we pulled up our anchors and started to sail to Cane Garden. During the passage, it started to rain very heavily, and Owen, Miles, Henry, Evie, and Makena all got soaked sitting on the bow of the boat.
Meanwhile, Sophia, Ben, Jack, and Robert played some intense card games. When we got to Cane Garden, we refueled, and then Sipora and Owen got started with making dinner, which was Thai red curry with chicken and rice. We ended the night with a “squeeze” and a sail chat.
