This morning, we woke up to french toast and we bickered about what music to play until we settled on making a playlist. After breakfast, we got ready to race to Anegada from our previous location Savanna Bay. We raced against three other boats: Tropical Oasis, San Souci II, and Salsa. Initially, I was pretty intimidated by skippering the boat during a regatta, but all my doubts fled with the reassurance and guidance of my crew. We switched skippers between Will, Gabe, Martin, and myself. We ended up winning the regatta. After we arrived to Anegada, we had a good lunch and spilled it literally everywhere. It went all over the deck and companionway and we spent a while cleaning it up and then headed to shore and went swimming. Anegada is really pretty because it’s so flat and the water is the most gorgeous shade of blue. We played on the white sand beach for about an hour or so and then we went back to Blue Tide. We quickly got underway and sailed the vessel to Leverick Bay for our BBQ. Also along the way to Leverick Bay we saw flying fish and an island that was owned by some guy that also owns Virgin Airlines. It was a good day.
