Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

Today was super fun! We woke up a little early to send our laundry out. We all got up and ate some breakfast, and said goodbye to Amanda and Mac. They were off to dive for the day. Then everyone got ready to start sailing. The first group that got to be on the helm was Scottie, Sovo, and me. We put up the main sail and the jib sheet and practiced tacking and jibing while we were out. We had so much fun sailing around the BVI. Everyone got a chance to be up at the helm today and practice sailing. For lunch, we stopped at a cool spot and rafted up with amused, one of the other boats here doing Vega and Carina.

We got a chance to hang out and swim and eat delicious soup for lunch. Scottie made the best best cookie dough ever, and we all snacked on it. Then we were off again, and Gabe, Zora, and Quin got to sail us back to Virgin Gorda, where we anchored for the night. Hunter, Moseley, Ellie, Helen, Skyann, Scottie, Gabe, Tucker, and I hung out on the trampoline and soaked up the great weather before we took ocean showers and got ready for the night. Before dinner, we had another mini sail chat with Margaux. Tonight for dinner was super special. Quin and Zora made the best Thanksgiving dinner, and our amazing head director Mike, joined us, which was super fun! When dinner was over, we all said what we were grateful for, watched the beautiful sunset, and cleaned the dishes. Also, coming up tonight, everyone is so excited to review for our diving exam so we can open water dive tomorrow! We can’t wait to get back in the water soon!
