Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
We started the day off with our signature wake-up song Makeba, and some breakfast burritos made by Ellie and Scottie, the chefs of the day. Our first rotation was waterskiing, wakeboarding, or kneeboarding! Tucker, Hunter, Megan, Gabe, Quin, and Scottie were in the first boat with kackie. In the second boat was Sovo, Ellie, Helen, Zora, and me with Margaux. Sovo, Helen, Tucker, and I kneeboarded, and Tucker went out the side of the wake and caught air which he was really proud of. Ellie water skied, and Quin wakeboarded! After boat time, everyone hung out in the salon, and Zora, Ellie, Tucker, Megan, Scottie, Sovo, and I started/worked on friendship bracelets.
Then we had a sail chat with Margaux as our 2nd rotation about ship systems. For our 3rd rotation, we decided to chill on the boat and swim. Hunter made about three bagels with peanut butter because they are his new favorite snack. As we were sitting outside, it started to rain, and it was really cool to watch the rain slowly come closer to our boat. Megan, Tucker, Zora, Hunter, Sovo, Gabe, Quin, and I went on to the roof to be in the rain, and then we jumped off the boat and had a diving contest in which Gabe won first place! We had grilled cheese for lunch. Then Scottie, Megan, and I read, and Skyann helped Tucker study the RDP tables until it was time for scuba diving! We practiced more scuba skills in our confined water so we can move to open water on our next dive. Then everyone had a super fun sunset ocean shower. Once we were all clean, Scottie and Ellie started chefing up risotto, chicken, and Ceasar salad for our dinner, which Jake came to our boat for! Today was so much fun, and definitely one of my favorites so far!
