Location: Marina Cay
Today was kicked off with our daily wake-up song, Makeba. We ate breakfast while sailing to our dive site. We took the dingy and were on board Amused the dive boat. The first group with McKenzie and Margaux (who hopped in the water to help out today) consisted of Me, Tucker, Sovo, and Skyann—next, Kaleigh’s group, with Gabe, Sora, Megan, and Quinn. Mackenzie’s second dive group with Scottie, Mosley, Helen, and Ellie all completed their dive. We then had our surface interval time which was filled with lots of snacks and chitchat. Then, everybody went on their second dive, which was around 30 feet (about the same as the first time). The dives were super cool, and we all can’t wait to go again. After that, Amanda, Tucker, Skyann, and I went back to the boat and went swimming and prepared Mac and Cheese for lunch.
Along with some studying, it was time to take the exam. The exam was as anticipated since Mac and Amanda prepared us very well. Later in the night, We restocked up on water. Next, Tucker and Mosley cooked up a super duper yummy meal consisting of tortellini, sauce, and garlic bread. We all then made beaded bracelets for everyone!!!! The day was full of excitement and new learning skills. The trip, so far, has been amazing and a great experience for all of us. Thank you, mommies and daddies!
