Location: Pigeon Beach, Antigua
Today was a gloomy day and a roller coaster of emotions. We started out by listening to good music to wake us up. The chefs Evan and Tati made scrambled eggs and a gooey blueberry muffin. Shortly after eating and cleaning up, we headed to a grocery store for some shore time, and unfortunately, we heard the devastating news that our crewmate on the other Minerva boat had to go home early, which put a damper on the day. We stocked up on snacks from the store and headed back to the boat to fuel up on diesel. We anchored in a new bay and set up a boom swing and hung out in the water until Hagen Time (the other Minerva boat) came over to swing on the boom swing. Then we went to the beach to throw the frisbee and bouncey ball. Mia and Im Im stayed on the boat to hang out. Drake and Ellery went on a beach walk, and JJ showed off his frisbee skills. Jackson, Juni, and I all chilled in the water, then we had dinner on the boat, an evening sail chat, and then we hit the hay for an early sail to St Barths tomorrow morning.
