This morning, I woke up to the breeze blowing straight into my face. We were rocking back and forth for what felt like forever. I lifted up my head, looked out the window, and saw a perfect purple and pink sunrise right in front of my eyes. I glazed out of the hatch above Kennedy, Pearl, and me and saw Whitney, one of our scuba instructors, staring right at me. And the first thing I heard this morning was, “ACTIONQUEST OLYMPIC DAY GET HYPE.” I sighed and woke up Pearl and Kennedy. After brushing our hair and our teeth we came upstairs to a fresh pan of french toast and very unevenly cut pieces of cantaloupe. Props to Suki and Andrew!!!!! But it ended up being so good. I ran downstairs, grabbed my bright blue zinc, and started to put it under everyone’s eyes. I asked Amanda, our other scuba instructor, if I could put zinc on her face and she said no. 5 minutes later I came into the galley and she turned around and had zinc on her face. I was so offended. Anyway, I started writing Avizia, our boat name, on Holden, Dawson, and Cam on their backs and wrote the same on Pearl, Kennedy, Amaya, and Lilliana’s stomachs. We jumped onto the dinghy to head over to the beach. There, we competed in tug of war, a three-legged relay race, and a fender rodeo. We won none of the rodeo or tug of war. But in the three-legged relay, Pearl and I worked together and ended up winning. Jovian saw some people he knew from our land day and was hanging out with them in the water for a while. So we also got to meet new people! Everyone from our boat and other boats in our fleet started to play chicken fight where everyone goes on each other’s shoulders and fights. Gavin was the big winner! We jumped into the ocean, took some photos, and out of nowhere, it started to POUR rain. That is when we realized that we left our cabin hatch open. So we came back to the boat to our bed, and a few of our things were wet. For lunch, we had PB and J sandwiches. We took a quick ocean shower before we set sail for 3 hours. During the sail, we finally got a good shower with Hibiclens. Today was the first day in a while that we all felt super clean. Holden was super nice and decided to grab our life jackets from the bow for all of us. Thanks, Holden! I went up to the power tower and tried to make friendship bracelets, but they were actually horrible. I laid my head down and took an hour-long nap. When I woke up, we were in a new place. We stopped on a dock to refill our water tanks, which, by the way, empties SO FAST. Suki and Andrew made us some veggie burgers and mashed potatoes for dinner. Everyone took all the buns before me so I had to have it on bread, but it was still pretty good! That was pretty much our day so far. Right now, I am writing this blog for everyone’s parents to see, so hiiiii! After this, we have a dive chat for an hour, and I hope to have a good sleep tonight. Today was one of the most fun by far.
