Location: Sidney's, Jost van Dyke
Day 15 of the program is commonly known as the longest day. We began our day with the Mount Sage hike. It was three and a half miles up and three and a half back down. This session one of my shipmates, Bobo, was the first student to the top out of over 150 other students. We enjoyed the beautiful views on the trek to the highest point in the BVI. Once the hike was completed, we got shore time. Then we pulled our anchors and motored to Sandy Cay for the sandcastle contest. Our boat created a beautiful palm tree sandcastle and then hung out on the beach for the remainder of the afternoon. Next, we moved the boat over to Sidney’s Peace and Love to raft the monohulls for our BBQ tonight. Although we had a busy day, it was a blast because we were all together.
