Location: Sommer's Beach, Tortola
We started the day with scrambled eggs and muffins made by Caleb and Moorea. We then sailed from Muskmelon to Monkey Point. Straight after we arrived, the Neptunes (Caleb, Dylan, Brian) did our second underwater naturalist dive, and the dolphins (Tyler, Tyler, Kyler, Zack, Moorea, Alli, Scarlet, Alexis, and Jack) did a research dive. We then filled the tanks, and the Neptunes did a specialist equipment course while the dolphins worked on their fish ID and their research projects. After all of this, Caleb and I (Brian) had a nap to skip the journey to Sommer’s Beach. Shortly after arriving in Sommers Beach, the heavens opened up and drenched the majority of us. Most people hated it, whereas I loved it, as it was a reminder of the weather back in England. While it was raining, a pod of dolphins appeared! After a long day, it was time for a beach bbq with all the other boats, but we had to do a wet entrance on the beach to avoid getting the dingy stuck on the sand, so once again, we were wet, but it didn’t ruin our fun. After about one hour and a half, we headed back to our boat and chilled out while the Brits (Brian and Joe) chowed down some cereal. Now I’m going to sleep and can’t wait for tomorrow.
