Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today was a fun day. Smiles filled the air as we were woken up with bagels with cream cheese. After breakfast, we were tasked with naming and writing down five vertebrates, three invertebrates, and two plants on a dive that we would all take part in. However, Oon and Oey were doing fish identification instead. During the dive, Sophie, Malika, Mengmei, and Pierce saw a moray eel. After the dive, we went over all of the things we saw, and everyone saw cool creatures/Plants. After we all passed the check it was time for our first rotation which was zesting. Although the wind was rough and Mengmei and Izzy capsized around ten times, the air was still filled with joy and laughter. After a quick grilled cheese break with a ham option, it was time for our next rotation: Water skiing! Sophia managed to stand up on one ski while Pierce and Brian were swimming! Finally, it was time for a……. HIKE!! During the hike on the mountain, I gathered some tamerenes that Brian and Blake later enjoyed, and Sophie and Malika spotted a goat while walking on the trail. Overall today was filled with excitement and packed with adventure I wonder what the next day will bring..
