Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
This morning, we slept in and woke up to French Toast made by Oon and Sophie, and Breccan teaching Pierce his Taekwondo moves. We then left for Savanna Bay for the boat Olympics. After lunch, we had a little dance competition with Nacho Dinghy (We obviously won). Once we got to the beach, Mengmei and Sophia jumped right into the water and started playing with the dead jellyfish floating around in the water. While Sophie, Malika, and I saw a stingray swimming by. Once the boat Olympics started, the first activity we did was tug of war. Everyone participated, and even though we didn’t do the best, we all tried the best we could. Next, we have the soapy dinghy, where the staff poured dish soap all over our dinghy, Lava, and Malika and Pierce had to swim to the dinghy, then climb into the dinghy and back before everyone else. Then we had to fill an empty Pringles can with water. Some people like Oon, Oey, and Izzy volunteered their shirts to try and squeeze the water into the cup, while others like Brian, Blake, and Sophie used their mouths, and others like me and Sophia used our hair to squeeze it into the can I am proud to say that we got 2nd for that relay race. Lastly, we had the fender rodeo where Mengmei used her horseback riding skills to stay on the buoy as long as she could, with at first two hands, then 1, and then no hands. After the boat Olympics, we showered and then returned to Mountain Point and had Chicken ceaser salad and risotto for dinner. Today was packed with competitions and unforgettable memories. Today was just the start of week 2, and I can’t wait for what will come next.
