Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

Today we woke up to the fierce rain as we arrived at our dive spot for the day! Joey woke us up with his usual beats (reggae 🎵 (we are getting kind of sick of it )). Our wonderful chefs whipped us up some organic, no gluten, no dairy, no milk cereal fresh from a processed bag. Pierce ate his “special” Oreo cereal, and he said he would choose it to be his last meal. After breakfast, it was time to set up our dive gear. To be frank I was concerned, I swear Sophie was about to fly away since she only had one bowl of cereal so we couldn’t find her waist, it was high key scary but all was well as she kept her BCD inflated so when she did fall into the water she didn’t drown. Thank the Lord! On our dive today, we had to find certain relationships in the environment to earn our underwater naturalist. We looked for mutualism, parasitism, connectionism, and predator-prey relations in marine life. I was not born by the ocean like Joey. I just realized that this whole blog has been written around my life. Now let me chat about the rest of the mammals on HOPE!!!

#1 MungMei had perfect buoyancy on our dive (as per usual), she only used 400psi during the whole dive!!!! (We are convinced she is one with the sea, aka a mermaid cool, coo,l but she resides in Dubai, so maybe she’s not a mermaid after all

#2 Brian had a spirited mediation on the bow of the boat. He looked very cinematic and zen as he is one with nature. What a cool fella. He also enjoyed his time feeding Marty the seagull with some other boat buds

#3 Sophia Sophia Sophia…. Oh, where do I begin? She is otherwise known as the shuffling demon, as her roots are dug in the soil (concrete) of LAS VEGAS

#4 Izzy the peaceful swan now specked with golden tinsel in her hair, it looks absolutely amazing, and I’m high key jelly. Also, Izzy would like it to be known that she broke her upper retainer. This is a message to her parents to order a new retainer from the dentist, pretty please.

#5 Emme won all of the poker chips and is now hella rich… in paper. She also had lots of fun and took a big nap

#6 B money, aka B dog, actually Breccan. On our dive, Breccan saw many cool fish but unfortunately could not equalize properly on the second dive. He encouraged everyone on the dive and was serving alpha as he put a smile on everyone’s face! Thanks to my help, Breccan has very soft hair now after he used my hair mask! His hair is as soft as a.

#7 Oon headed off to Pirate Song to practice her sailing skills and feels lucky …… She enjoyed the dinghy ride back

#8 Oey also went to Pirate song for the day. But she lovedddddd the ramen!! A highlight of the day was taking a great nap while learning the ropes of sailing and feeling the BVI breeze in her hair

#9 Pierce! According to Pierce, reverse psychology always works, as he demonstrated in a heated game of Uno. Where Pierce emerged as the. Pierce and I chatted it up pre-dive, but unfortunately, we were not dive buddies today. Another highlight of his day (apart from me) was feeding Marty the seagull alongside Brian and Breccan

#10 Blake really enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner today. We had a green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and chicken, followed by cranberry sauce and gravy on the side. He had a great nap (I think you notice that everyone on Hope lovessss their naps!) Now he is chatting it up with everyone outside, and we are about to head to bed.

#11 Sophie the CFO (chief fun officer ) had a fun day (duh because she was with me!!) She really hit the wobble after dinner when we all partied on the hardtop! She played rounds of Uno and won a bunch

Overall, we had a pretty perfect day today. Since it was Thanksgiving night, we all appreciated how lucky we are to be here, and we all appreciate and love our families. We miss you! đź’—
